The EAERE Fellow Program was established in 2019 to recognize outstanding contributions to the field of environmental and resource economics. Individuals may be named an EAERE Fellow who have distinguished themselves by publishing outstanding papers, taking on important roles in policy, and/or demonstrating special commitment to the Association's leadership or activities to advance the profession of environmental and resource economists.
In her laudation, EAERE President Phoebe Koundouri recognized Till Requate's contributions as editor of the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, author of the graduate textbook "Environmental Economics - Theory, Policy, and Practice," and recipient of the Eric Kempe Award.
