Office tasks
The office of the Commission of Experts for Research and Innovation is the organisational centre of the reporting system also doing scientific work in the field of innovation research. The corresponding results are reflected in the reports and proceedings of the Commission of Experts.
In addition, the office is responsible for tendering and contracting external scientific services. It coordinates the priority and indicator studies of the involved scientific institutions and integrates its key findings into the commission reports. Further, it is responsible for the preparation and follow-up of the regular meetings of the Commission of Experts.
Since 1 September 2011, the office has been affiliated to the science statistics of the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft and is located at Pariser Platz 6 in Berlin.
